Last night Vivo Wine Bar in Wellington hosted a night of wine and art. I displayed 10paintings, including 'If', my painting for Legato.
It was a great night. People were generous with their praise and their contributions. It was a tremendous boost for me taking me closer to my goal of being able to take 'If' to Italy in May.

ReplyDeleteVivo means "I live" - very apt, in the context of this exhibition. The future of our children is in our hands. The goal is that all parents can be assured that their children, as young adults will be able to say confidently "Vivo".
Spero = I hope. My grandparents hoped that their three sons would return from Italy. Luckily they did. I hope that my children and grandchildren will see a world where there are as many peace workers as soldiers in the present war zones.
